Ads and Remarketing

We use Google AdWords remarketing services on our blog and forum to display our ads on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors of those pages, this is done in the form of a cookie that contains anonymous data regarding your visit.

Our mobile apps

When do we collect and share your personal data

"On-device" transfer to another app

Some of our mobile apps allow you to input personal information such as your name, mobile/cell number and email address. Some also allow you to import contact information from your phone contacts into our app. This information may be shared with other apps on your device when you perform an action that needs to use those apps:

  • your name and mobile/cell number will be shared with your preferred SMS app when sending SMS messages to your chosen recipients
  • your name and email address will be shared with your preferred email app when sending email messages to your chosen recipients

SMS, email and other messages are only sent when you ask for such messages to be sent (known as "user-initiated actions").

"Off-device" transfers

No personal information provided to our apps is shared with us "off-device" or with any third party outside of the "user-initiated actions" described in the previous section.

Data deletion

Any personal information you have provided to our app is deleted when you remove our app from your device.
